From the “Anthropod” Series

Three “creatures” from Madeline Rile Smith’s Arthropod series will appear in the annual juried show at Abington Arts Center. The show, which runs from December 8 – January 27, will have an opening reception on Saturday, December 8 from 3-5 PM. The reception is free and open to the public. According to the AAC’s website, “Over 60 works by regional artists were selected by this year’s juror Carmina Cianciulli, artist and dean at Tyler School of Art. The Inquirer says the “Annual Juried Show is refreshingly different from most group shows…and quality abounds.” Abington Arts Center is located at 515 Meetinghouse Road, Jenkintown, PA, 19046.
